Here's an endorsement which offers you a look at what the book covers:
As a literary agent, I often tell writers: "Write what you know. Write from the heart." Gloria Chadwick embodies these words in her book The Path to Publishing Your Book. She offers powerful, practical advice that every writer, from beginner to seasoned professional, can use in every phase of the publishing process. Rarely have I seen the key elements of writing a book and getting it published so well delineated and explained. It's all here—everything a writer needs from start to finish—with an added higher dimension: an often overlooked appreciation for the passion and spirit that are inherent and necessary components of any successful creative venture. Ms. Chadwick is clearly a pro in the know—and I heartily recommend her book as a unique and indispensable resource for novice and veteran writers alike. Even after a lifetime in this business I know I learned a lot. You will too! — Bob Silverstein, President, Quicksilver Books, Literary Agents
I faciliate a writer's group at Barnes & Noble in the San Pedro Crossing Shopping Center (321 NW Loop 410) in San Antonio (210/342-0008). It's the first Wednesday of every month from 7 pm to 9 pm. It's free and is an open forum for writers where we discuss all aspects of writing, getting published, and promoting our books. It's a wonderful way to network with other writers and to share information. From time to time, there are guest speakers (writers, of course) sharing their work and telling us about their writing and publishing experiences. We also have a "show and tell" for writers in our group to show us their book(s) and tell us all about how they got published. Hope to see you there!
